Storms of Summer and Life

Patterns exist everywhere in nature, from the repeating hexagons in a beehive to the red skies at night calming sailor’s hearts. One of my favorite … Read More ›

💧 Give Drink to the Thirsty — the 2nd Corporal Work of Mercy — reminds us that caring for the body opens hearts to God’s grace. Water is essential for life, and offering it to someone in need is a way of honoring the dignity of the person made in God’s image. Whether we support clean water efforts, share a drink with the weary, or simply notice the needs around us, we imitate Christ, who offers living water to all who thirst. 🕊️

And speaking of thirst — this is likely the last week of liquid feed for the bees before we switch to mush bags for the cooler temps. 🍯🐝 Preparing their winter stores is essential this time of year.
