I’ve been slowly re-reading “Searching for and Maintaining Peace” by Fr. Jacques Philippe…and honestly, I keep stopping to reread the same lines.

Not because they’re complicated (as spiritual reading can sometimes be!), but because they’re so simple, and yet so hard to live.

Especially in motherhood.

I tend to think peace will come when:
🏡the house is quiet,
👶the children are settled,
📋everything is finally “in order.”

This book keeps bringing me back to something deeper: peace isn’t found in perfect circumstances.
It’s found in returning to God, over and over again, without discouragement.

“Remain at peace, and simply begin again.”

Begin again. I think I’ve had to “begin again” 10x already and it’s not yet noon. 🤪 But that’s ok, because…

JESUS, I TRUST IN YOU. ❤️💙

Have you read this one?
